• EPGP (Executive Post Graduate Programme – One-Year Full-Time)

  1. Academic: Bachelor’s degree with 50% aggregate or equivalent CGPA (45% for SC/ST/PwD candidates)

  2. Work Experience: Minimum 5 years of post-graduation work experience

  3. Entrance Exam: Valid GMAT or GRE score

• PGPEM (Post Graduate Programme in Enterprise Management – Two-Year Weekend Programme)

  1. Academic: Bachelor’s degree with 50% aggregate (45% for SC/ST/PwD candidates)

  2. Work Experience: Minimum 4 years of post-graduation work experience

  3. Entrance Exam: Valid CAT, GMAT, GRE, or IIMB Test score

• PGPPM (Public Policy and Management – 14-Month Programme for Non-Government Participants)

  1. Academic: Graduation with 50% aggregate (45% for SC/ST/PwD candidates)

  2. Work Experience: Minimum 5 years of post-graduation work experience

  3. Entrance Exam: Valid CAT, GMAT, GRE, or IIMB Test score

• PhD (Doctoral Programme)

  1. Academic: Master’s degree with 55% aggregate (50% for SC/ST/PwD) OR professional qualification such as CA/ICWA/CS/BCom with 50% aggregate

  2. Entrance Exam: Valid score in GMAT, GRE, GATE, JRF-NET, CAT, or IIMB Test

Admission Process (Selection)

IIM Bangalore follows a multi-stage, multi-factor selection model:

• Initial Shortlisting

  1. Candidates are shortlisted for interviews based on a composite score.

  2. This score typically includes entrance exam performance, past academic records (Class 10, Class 12, and graduation), and relevant work experience.

• Interview Stage

  1. Shortlisted candidates must attend a Personal Interview (PI).

  2. For MBA (PGP) and EPGP programs, this stage also includes a Written Ability Test (WAT).

• Final Selection

Admission offers are made based on a comprehensive composite score that considers:
