Scholarship:
1. Need-Based Financial Aid (Tuition Fee Waivers)
IIM Mumbai offers tuition fee waivers based on annual family income. These are reviewed each year depending on the student’s academic performance.

Type 1 Waiver: Family income below ₹1,00,000 → 50% tuition fee waiver

Type 2 Waiver: Family income below ₹2,50,000 → 30% tuition fee waiver
2. Government & Category-Specific Scholarships
The institute facilitates access to central and state government scholarship schemes:

Central Sector Scholarship Scheme (SC/ST): Covers tuition, maintenance, and book allowances for eligible SC/ST students (family income typically below ₹8,00,000).

Ministry of Tribal Affairs Scholarship (ST): Full tuition coverage for eligible ST students.

Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment Scholarship (SC/PwD): Provides full tuition support for meritorious SC students and financial aid for Persons with Disabilities (PwD).
3. Merit and Corporate Scholarships
These are offered by external organizations based on academic merit, performance in the MBA program, and sometimes interviews.

Aditya Birla Scholarship (Aditya Birla Group): Merit-based; awarded to top 25% students. Amount: ₹1.75 Lakhs per year.

OPJEMS Scholarship (OP Jindal Group): Merit-based; for top performers in the second year. Amount: ₹1.50 Lakhs per year.

NTPC Scholarship Scheme (NTPC): For SC/ST/PwD students in the second year who clear the first year in one attempt. Amount: ₹48,000 per year.

Mirae Asset Foundation (MAF) Scholarship: Based on interviews; for students with family income under ₹8 Lakhs. Amount: up to ₹5 Lakhs (one-time grant).
