Eligibility Criteria for MBBS Admission at TSMU
Tbilisi State Medical University welcomes international students to its MBBS (Medical Doctor) program, provided they meet the following academic and personal requirements:
Academic & Entrance Requirements

Educational Qualification: Applicants must have completed their higher secondary education (10 2 or equivalent) with a minimum of:

50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology for general category students

40% aggregate marks for students from reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC)

NEET Requirement (for Indian Students): A valid NEET qualification is mandatory. While TSMU does not conduct its own entrance exam, your NEET scorecard is essential for admission and future medical practice eligibility in India.
Age & Language Requirements

Minimum Age: You must be at least 17 years old by December 31st of the admission year. There is typically no upper age limit.

English Proficiency: The MBBS program is taught entirely in English. Although standardized tests like IELTS or TOEFL are not compulsory, the university may conduct an online interview to evaluate your English communication skills and motivation for pursuing medicine.
