DoMS IIT Madras

The Department of Management Studies at the Indian Institute of Technology Madras offers a variety of management programmes. Each module is specifically designed to address the demands of varied aspirants wishing to develop and upgrade their management skills. As part of the IIT Madras eco-system, the programme and students benefit from cutting-edge management technology.The Master of Business Administration (MBA) course is a two-year, full-time programme that offers students a well-rounded learning experience in management theory and practise. The Executive MBA (EMBA) degree is specifically designed to meet the learning needs of working professionals, with alternate weekend contact classes that allow for work-life balance while retaining academic rigour and a practice-oriented curriculum. DoMS also offers dual degree programmes, the first of which is the Tech MBA programme, which integrates and synergizes technology and management disciplines, and the second of which is the Masters in Quantitative Finance programme, which is designed to link mathematical and computing skills with finance. In keeping with the parent institution's research orientation, DoMS provides a Masters curriculum in research (MS).to prepare students to do rigorous, managerially relevant research in a variety of management topics, as well as the flagship doctoral (PhD) course that prepares students to conduct high-quality research. The PGPEX-VLM is a one-year diploma programme with a built-in manufacturing focus offered in collaboration by three institutes: IIT Madras, IIT Kanpur, and IIM Calcutta. We have a post-doctoral research programme and a six-month post-doctoral programme for women that allow doctorate researchers to cooperate and work with faculty members on creative areas of management study.
