Eligibility Criteria

Regular Candidates

  • A valid score in the Common Admission Test (CAT) conducted by the Indian Institutes of Management.

  • A Bachelor’s degree (or professional qualification equivalent to a university degree recognized by the UGC) in any discipline, with a minimum of 60% marks or first-class standing. For SC/ST/PwD candidates, the minimum requirement is 55% marks.

  • Final-year students are eligible to apply, provided they complete all requirements for the qualifying degree before the commencement of the program and submit a provisional certificate of completion within two months of joining.

  • IIT graduates with a CGPA of 8.0 or above (on a 10-point scale) are exempted from the CAT requirement.

Sponsored Candidates

  • Applications must be forwarded through the proper channel by the sponsoring employer.

  • A minimum of two years of work experience in the sponsoring organization is required.

  • A valid CAT score is mandatory.

  • Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent professional qualification recognized by the UGC) with at least 60% marks.

Defense Personnel

  • Defense personnel are exempted from national-level entrance tests and must apply through the appropriate government agencies.

  • A Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent professional qualification recognized by the UGC) with a minimum of 55% marks is required.

Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) and Foreign Nationals

  • A valid GMAT score is required.

  • A Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent professional qualification recognized by the UGC) in any discipline with at least 60% marks.

  • Final-year students are eligible to apply, subject to completion of degree requirements before program commencement and submission of a provisional certificate within two months of joining.

  • Applicants must submit copies of citizenship-related documents issued by the Indian Embassy in their country of residence.

 

Selection Procedure

Shortlisting Process:

 Candidates are shortlisted based on:

  • Entrance exam performance (CAT/GMAT or equivalent)

  • Past academic record

  • Relevant work experience

  • Academic diversity

  • Gender diversity

Final Selection:

Admission offers are made on the basis of a composite score, which includes:

  • Entrance exam results

  • Reflective writing assessment and personal interview performance

  • Academic achievements and consistency

  • Work experience and extracurricular accomplishments.
