Eligibility Criteria

Academic Qualification: A Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwD candidates).

Final Year Students: Candidates in their final year of graduation can apply, provided they complete their degree with the required marks by the time of admission (usually by June/July).

Entrance Exam: A valid CAT score is mandatory. For the Tourism program, GMAT scores (taken within the last 5 years) are also accepted.

Qualifying Cutoff (General Category): While the minimum eligibility is 50% in graduation, the CAT shortlisting cutoff for the 2025 batch is approximately 95 percentile (overall) for the General category under the Common Admission Process (CAP).
Admission Process
Step 1: Appear for CAT

Register and take the Common Admission Test (CAT) conducted by the IIMs.

Select IIM Sirmaur as one of your preferred institutes during CAT registration.
- Application fees are separate and typically paid during the online application process for CAT or IPMAT, varying by category (General/NC-OBC/EWS vs. SC/ST/PwD) and generally ranging from ₹2,000-₹4,000
Step 2: Shortlisting for Personal Interview (PI)

Candidates are shortlisted based on CAT percentile cut-offs.
Step 3: Participate in PI Round

Shortlisted candidates are invited for Personal Interview (PI).

Conducted online or in-person depending on institute guidelines.
Step 4: Final Merit List Preparation
A composite score is calculated using multiple parameters:

Submit academic and identity documents for verification.

Complete formalities for hostel, mess, and orientation.
