Eligibility
1. Academic Qualification

Candidates must have passed the 10 2 / Higher Secondary / equivalent examination.

Required subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English.

Minimum aggregate marks in PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology):

General Category: 50%
-
SC/ST/SEBC Categories: 40%
-
PwD Candidates (Locomotor disability 40%–70%): 45%

2. Entrance Exam Requirement

Must qualify in the NEET-UG examination conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).

Minimum NEET percentile required:
-
General Category: 50th percentile
-
SC/ST/OBC Categories: 40th percentile
-
PwD (General): 45th percentile
-
3. Age Criteria

Applicants must be at least 17 years old on or before December 31 of the year of admission.

There is no upper age limit for NEET-UG as per current regulations.
4. Nationality

Eligible candidates include:

Indian citizens
-
Children or dependents of Non-Resident Indians (NRIs)
-
Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) and Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) (Note: PIO/OCI candidates are treated as Indian citizens for admission purposes but are not eligible for reservation benefits)

5. Additional Notes

Candidates who have completed Class 12 through Open Schooling or as private candidates may not be eligible, subject to legal interpretations and court rulings.

Result-awaiting candidates can apply but must meet eligibility criteria by the time of counselling.
