 Eligibility Criteria for MBBS Admission at Chechen State University (2025)

Indian students seeking admission to the MBBS program at CSU must meet specific academic, entrance exam, and age-related requirements, in accordance with both the university’s policies and the National Medical Commission (NMC) guidelines.

 

 Academic & Examination Requirements

  • 12th-Grade Qualification: Applicants must have completed their 10 2 education with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) as core subjects from a recognized board.

    • General Category: Minimum 50% aggregate in PCB

    • Reserved Categories (SC/ST/OBC): Minimum 40% aggregate

    • English must be a compulsory subject in the qualifying examination.

  • NEET-UG Requirement: A valid NEET score for the 2025 session is mandatory. This is a non-negotiable requirement for Indian citizens pursuing MBBS abroad, as per NMC regulations. Without NEET qualification, students are not eligible to register for medical practice in India after graduation.

  • No Additional Entrance Exam: CSU does not conduct any separate entrance test for Indian students. Admission is granted based on your 12th-grade marks and NEET qualification.

 

 Age & Health Criteria

  • Minimum Age: You must be at least 17 years old on or before December 31st of the admission year.

  • Maximum Age: As per current NMC guidelines, there is no upper age limit for MBBS admission.

  • Medical Fitness: A medical fitness certificate and a recent HIV test report are required during the application process to confirm your physical and mental readiness for medical studies.

 

 Language & Instruction

  • Medium of Instruction: The MBBS program for international students is taught entirely in English, ensuring accessibility for Indian students.

    • IELTS or TOEFL scores are not required, but basic proficiency in English is essential for academic success.

 

 Degree Recognition & Licensing

  • Global Recognition: CSU is officially recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC) and is listed in the World Directory of Medical Schools (WDOMS).

  • Licensing in India: After completing the MBBS degree and internship, graduates must pass the National Exit Test (NExT) to obtain a license to practice medicine in India. This exam will eventually replace the FMGE.
