Student Visa & Arrival Process for MBBS at Chechen State University (For Indian Students)
Part 1: Student Visa Application in India
Step 1: Receive the Official Invitation Letter
Once your admission is confirmed, Chechen State University will issue an Invitation Letter approved by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.

Step 2: Prepare Your Visa Documents
You’ll need to compile and prepare the following documents:

Original passport (valid for at least 18 months)

Official Invitation Letter

12th-grade academic transcripts

NEET-UG scorecard

Medical fitness certificate

HIV test report
-
Recent passport-sized photographs
All documents must be notarized and translated into Russian by a certified translator.
Step 3: Submit Your Visa Application
Submit your complete application in person at the Russian Embassy or a Russian Consulate in India.
Step 4: Pay the Visa Fee

Standard student visa fee: ₹3,500 to ₹4,000

Part 2: Registration Upon Arrival in Russia
Step 1: Receive Your Migration Card
Upon landing at a Russian airport, you’ll be issued a migration card.

Fill it out accurately and keep it with your passport at all times—this serves as your official entry record.
Step 2: University Registration
Within 7 working days of arrival:

Report to the International Office at Chechen State University

The university will register you with the Federal Migration Service (FMS)—a mandatory legal requirement
Step 3: Pay Arrival & Registration Fees
Upon arrival, you’ll be required to pay one-time fees covering:

Airport pickup

Medical check-up

Immigration registration
Total estimated cost: $1,800 USD or approximately ₹1,50,000
Step 4: Visa Extension
Your initial student visa is valid for 90 days and allows single entry.

The university will assist with annual visa extensions throughout your course duration

Annual extension fee: Approximately ₹1,750
