NMC eligibility standards
NMC Eligibility Guidelines for MBBS Abroad (Chechen State University – 2025)

Why It Matters: Without a valid NEET score, you cannot register for a medical license in India after graduating from any foreign medical university.

12th Grade (10 2) Qualification: You must have passed your higher secondary education with:
-
Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) as core subjects
-
English as a compulsory subject

Course Duration & Structure
-
The MBBS program at CSU spans 6 years, which includes:

-
12 months of mandatory internship at CSU’s affiliated hospital
-
-
This structure fully complies with NMC’s minimum duration requirements.
Medium of Instruction
-
The entire MBBS curriculum, including clinical rotations, is delivered in English.
-
No additional language proficiency tests (like IELTS/TOEFL) are required, but basic fluency is essential.
Internship Requirement
-
The 12-month internship must be completed at the same university and its affiliated hospital in Russia.
-
This continuity is essential for the internship to be recognized by NMC in India.
Licensing Exam in India
-
After completing your MBBS and internship, you must pass the National Exit Test (NExT) to obtain a medical license in India.
-
The NExT will eventually replace the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) as the standard licensing exam.
Tip: Always verify the latest NMC guidelines and CSU admission policies before applying, as regulations may evolve.
