Eligibility Criteria
To apply for admission, candidates must fulfill the following requirements:

Academic Qualification: Completion of 10 2 or an equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English as mandatory subjects.

Minimum Marks:

General category candidates must secure at least 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.

SC/ST/OBC candidates are eligible with a minimum of 40% aggregate in the same subjects.

Age Requirement: Applicants must be 17 years of age or older by December 31, 2025.

Entrance Exam: A valid and qualifying score in NEET-UG is essential for consideration.
Admission Process
Admission to the BDS program is managed through a centralized counseling system coordinated by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA):

NEET-UG Qualification Candidates must appear for and successfully qualify the NEET-UG exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).

Counseling Registration Once NEET results are declared, candidates must register for Karnataka NEET counseling via the KEA’s official portal.

Choice Filling During the counseling process, candidates are required to list their preferred colleges and courses. A.J. Institute of Dental Sciences should be selected among the choices if desired.

Seat Allocation Based on NEET rank, preferences, and seat availability, KEA will assign seats. The institute offers 100 seats annually for the BDS program.

Reporting and Verification Candidates allotted a seat must report to the college with original documents for verification and complete the admission formalities, including payment of fees.
