Academic Qualification

• Candidates must have passed 10 2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board.

• Required subjects include Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English.

• Minimum aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology:

  • General category: 50%

  • SC/ST/OBC categories: 40%

• Candidates must have passed each subject individually.

Entrance Exam Requirement

• A valid and qualified score in NEET-UG (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test – Undergraduate) is mandatory.

• Admission is granted based on merit and seat availability through centralized counseling conducted by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA).

Age Criteria

• Applicants must be at least 17 years old on or before December 31st of the admission year.

Additional Notes

• Candidates from open schools or private study modes are not eligible to appear for NEET-UG.

• For Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD), the minimum qualifying marks may be relaxed to 40% in PCB subjects.

• Non-Karnataka students must obtain an eligibility certificate from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS), Bangalore before admission.

• NRI candidates must provide additional documentation such as passport copies, sponsorship letters, and student visas.
