• Entrance Exams:

• CG PET: Most seats are filled via the Chhattisgarh Pre-Engineering Test conducted by the Chhattisgarh Vyapam.

• JEE Main: A specific quota of seats is reserved for All India candidates based on their Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main scores.

• Eligibility:

• Candidates must have passed 10 2 (Higher Secondary) with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical Vocational subject.

• Minimum Marks: At least 45% marks for General category and 40% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates of Chhattisgarh.

• Age Limit: The upper age limit is generally 30 years for UR and 33-35 years for reserved/female categories.

 Counseling and Application Process

1. Registration: After entrance exam results are declared, candidates must register on the DTE Chhattisgarh official website for online counseling.

2. Choice Filling: During counseling, applicants must select "Government Engineering College, Bilaspur" and their preferred branch as their top choice.

3. Seat Allotment: Seats are allotted based on rank, category, and availability.
