Eligibility Criteria
To apply for the BDS program, candidates must meet the following requirements:

Academic Qualification: Must have passed 10 2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English as core subjects.

Minimum Marks:

General category: 50% aggregate in PCB
-
SC/ST/OBC: 40% aggregate

PwD (General): 45% aggregate

Age Requirement: Must be at least 17 years old by December 31 of the admission year.

Entrance Exam: Must qualify the NEET-UG exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
Admission Procedure
The BDS admission at IDS Jammu is conducted through the J&K NEET Counseling process managed by the J&K Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JKBOPEE):

Admission is based on NEET rank and seat availability.

Online Counseling Registration

After NEET results are declared, candidates must register on the for counseling.

Candidates can select and lock their preferred colleges and courses.

Seats are allotted based on NEET rank, preferences, and reservation policies.

Reporting to College

Candidates allotted a seat must report to IDS Jammu within the given timeframe.

Submit original documents for physical verification and pay the admission fee to confirm enrollment.
