Admission

Admission Process:

TIET conducts its admissions entirely online through its official admission portal. The process typically involves the following steps:

  1. Online Registration and Application: Candidates must visit the official TIET website, register, and complete the application form by providing personal, academic, and contact details.

  2. Document Upload: Applicants are required to upload scanned copies of essential documents such as mark sheets, photographs, and entrance exam scorecards.

  3. Application Fee Payment: A non-refundable application fee must be paid online to complete the registration process.

  4. Entrance Exam Requirement: Candidates must have appeared for and hold a valid score in the relevant national-level entrance exam (e.g., JEE Main for B.Tech, CAT/NMAT/CMAT for MBA).

  5. Merit List Declaration: TIET publishes a merit list based on entrance exam scores or academic performance (10 2 marks for specific channels).

  6. Counselling/Interview: Shortlisted candidates are invited for counselling (B.Tech) or for Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) in the case of MBA admissions.

  7. Seat Allotment and Fee Payment: Final seat allotments are made based on merit and preferences. Selected candidates must pay the admission fee to confirm their seat.
