Eligibility Criteria for B.Tech
To be eligible for the B.Tech program at MUIT, candidates generally need to meet the following requirements:

Academic Qualification: Completion of 10 2 (Senior Secondary) or equivalent from a recognized board (CBSE, ICSE, State Boards).

Core Subjects: Must have studied Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the following: Chemistry, Computer Science, Biology, or Biotechnology.

Minimum Marks: * General Category: Minimum aggregate of 50% marks in the core subjects mentioned above.

Reserved Categories: A relaxation (usually 5%) is often provided as per government norms.

Entrance Exam: A valid score in a national, state, or university-level entrance exam is often required.
Admission Process
The admission cycle at MUIT typically follows these steps:

Application: Candidates must apply online through the official MUIT website or visit the campus for an offline application.

Entrance Examination: * MUIT-MET: The university conducts its own entrance test called the Maharishi University of Information Technology Management Entrance Test (MUIT-MET).

National Exams: Scores from exams like JEE Main are often accepted in lieu of the university's entrance test.
