Eligibility Criteria for B.Tech

To be eligible for B.Tech admission at Manipur Technical University, candidates must typically meet the following requirements:

• Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed the 12th (Higher Secondary) or equivalent examination from a recognized board (e.g., COHSEM, CBSE, etc.).

• Core Subjects: Must have passed with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.

• Third Subject: Must have studied at least one of the following as an elective: Chemistry, Computer Science, Biology, or Biotechnology.

• Minimum Marks:

  • General/OBC: A minimum aggregate of 45% marks in the core subjects (Physics, Mathematics, and one optional subject).

  • SC/ST Category: A relaxation of 5% is usually provided, requiring a minimum of 40% marks.

Admission Process
