Step-by-Step Admission Guide for MBBS at TSMU
Step 1: Eligibility Verification and Document Preparation
Before initiating the application process, ensure you meet both the university’s and the National Medical Commission (NMC) requirements.

Academic Qualification: Completion of 10 2 with a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB). For candidates from SC/ST/OBC categories, the minimum requirement is 40%.

NEET Requirement: A valid NEET-UG qualifying score is mandatory for Indian students, in accordance with NMC guidelines.

Age Criteria: Applicants must be at least 17 years old by December 31, 2025.

Document Preparation: Gather all necessary documents, including academic transcripts, NEET scorecard, a valid passport, and passport-sized photographs. It is advisable to keep digital copies ready for online submission.
Step 2: Online Application and Interview
TSMU offers two intakes annually one in September (fall) and another in February/March (spring). Early application is recommended, as admissions are typically processed on a first-come, first-served basis.

Application Submission: Complete the online application form available on the university’s official website and upload all required scanned documents.

Application Fee: An application fee of approximately USD 500 may be applicable.

Interview Process: The university may conduct a video interview (commonly via Zoom) to evaluate your English language proficiency and motivation for pursuing medical studies.
Step 3: Offer Letter and Tuition Fee Payment
Once your application and interview are successfully reviewed, the university will issue a provisional offer letter.

Offer Letter: This confirms your acceptance into the MBBS program.

Fee Payment: To secure your admission, you must transfer the first-year tuition fee to the university’s official bank account.

Invitation Letter: Upon confirmation of payment, the university will issue an official Invitation Letter, which is essential for your student visa application.
Step 4: Student Visa Application
With the Invitation Letter in hand, you can begin the visa application process.

D3 Visa Application: Apply for a D3 (Study) visa through the Georgian embassy or an authorized visa application center such as VFS Global.

Required Documents: Submit the Invitation Letter, proof of tuition fee payment, valid passport, medical fitness certificate, and evidence of financial means to support your stay.
Step 5: Travel to Georgia and Final Registration
Once your visa is approved, you can proceed with travel arrangements.

Arrival and Reporting: Upon reaching Tbilisi, report to the university’s international student office.

Final Enrollment: Submit your original documents for verification and complete the remaining registration formalities. The university will assist you in applying for a temporary residence permit at the Public Service Hall, which is required for long-term stay in Georgia.
